I have moved from place to place many times in the past and I can honestly say that Trek Movers were hands down the most flexible, quickest, easiest group of guys to work with both leading up to the move AND during the move!!! The yelp coupon definitely helps combined with the 5% cash discount. Joe was excellent with communication, even when I had to up the moving date due to a work trip! They showed up on time (a few minutes early which was fantastic) and were very efficient. Honestly this was the easiest move in my life and well worth the investment. I moved with Trek Movers recently and the entire process was super smooth and exactly what I needed. Joe was very communicative in advance of the move and helped coordinate parking at both locations so the move could go as easily as possible in the day. Dimitri and Artur were timely, professional, and courteous throughout the entire move and took great care of all my belongings. I was incredibly satisfied with the experience and would definitely recommend Trek to anyone looking to move. AMAZING! Simply amazing. From a quick response time on yelp, to a fabulous phone call that covered all of my concerns, and an amazing team of movers. Joe and his team are simply top notch. Email and phone follow up wasn't overwhelming, it was the right amount to make me feel comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. My furniture and personal belongings made it safe and sound from one destination to the next. The movers were so nice and had great personalities. I never once worried about a thing. My time frame was 2pm-5pm, and the movers arrived around 230pm, which was sooner than I expected. Joe and the movers both kept me in the know of what time their arrival would be so I was never in the dark. The next time I move I will absolutely 100% be using Trek Movers again. Trek Movers provided exceptionally high quality furniture assembly services, and exceeded all of my expectations a hundred fold!!! They were honest, beyond reasonably priced, quick to return phone calls/email questions, on time, exceedingly efficient and organized from the back office to the on-site assembly crew! I purchased a bedroom furniture set from Costco and a desk hutch from Pottery Barn, which all needed assembly. This was no simple task since the bed had 3 parts (bed/headboard, large storage drawer AND a trundle bed), and the desk and hutch all required assembly! I initially spoke with Joe on the phone, who was upfront and honest right from the get-go, there was no deceptive or misleading slick talk about pricing. He quickly gathered my assembly needs, and within minutes emailed me a flat rate quote, which was surprisingly reasonable. Joe was able to accommodate my last minute addition to his busy schedule, and his crew arrived on time and even texted 30 minutes before their arrival time. The crew was super professional, friendly and very highly skilled at what they do! All the furniture operates smoothly, all drawers and cabinets perfectly aligned, trundle rolls out with ease, and the crew even organized the empty boxes into neat little piles outside. Although I had a flat rate fee, the crew took their time to assemble every item with care, not roughly banging and slamming parts around like other companies. When everything was finished, I paid the bill and shockingly there were no hidden fees or overtime charges, just exactly what Joe quoted at the beginning. Trek Movers have a customer for life with all my moving and furniture assembly needs. They can even disassemble and re-assemble furniture for moves, the full white glove service! Trek Movers helped me move from LA to San Diego 2 weeks ago and I could not have been happier with their service! After filling out my quote details on their website, I received a provisional quote by email. I confirmed the reservation and Joe immediately wrote back to me detailing the plan of action for the day of the move (crew to call 30 mins ahead of arrival, the brief walk-through that would happen, etc.). He also indicated he would contact me 1-2 days before the move for a final check-in. True to his word, three weeks later, he called to confirm the reservation again, although it was Memorial Day. I really appreciated this as it gave me peace of mind. Moving day itself: Vladimir and his partner (sorry, didn't catch your name!) texted ahead of arrival and showed up in the stated time window. Vladimir took apart my dining table and bed with zero problems and later re-assembled both in a very short period of time. They both were efficient and careful with my items, using wardrobe boxes and moving blankets to pack the oddly shaped objects and my dining set. My studio apartment was loaded up in just under 2 hrs, and later unloaded in ~1 hr. One detail: Vladimir asked me if I knew about the "double drive time" rate, which is basically that the moving company charges you double the origin to destination time (to cover gas for the return drive, etc.) Trek's original email quote to me had indeed explained this, but without calling it "double drive time", so I was caught off-guard by the term and a little unsure. The explanation made sense to me, so I signed off on it. Regardless, Joe called back within 10 mins, having heard of my confusion, and explained it all. I really appreciated this follow-up. I mentioned having to make a trip to the bank, because without accounting for the double drive time, I would not have enough cash for the 5% cash discount. He offered me the 5% discount regardless of whether or not I had the cash, in order to save me the trip to the bank. This was extremely helpful on an already stressful day. In sum: Don't hesitate to move with Trek. Their customer service from start to finish is amazing, and they are speedy, careful, and efficient! Wow. This company was G O R G E O U S. I can’t find another word to describe it. Everybody worked at their highest level. What I really loved was that they checked the TVs! They turned on my TV to check if it’s working. Then, when they moved it to the destination, they turned it on again to see if no damages were done. Very nice team.
