Under 100 miles bills hourly, so the route matters as much as the inventory, and I-15 is the spine. The Railroad Canyon Road interchange reopened in 2022 after a rebuild that added lanes and hung the northbound ramps onto Grape Street, and it still carries the east side. Grand Avenue on the south shore is two lanes, with nowhere safe to park a 26-footer. We stage tight and shuttle.
One warning, and it’s real. Ortega Highway looks like the short way to Orange County. It is not a road for a loaded truck. SR-74 over the Santa Anas is truck-restricted for grade and curvature — two lanes, no shoulder, switchbacks the whole way. Any mover promising to run the Ortega has never done it.

Country Club Heights catches people out. City planning documents call it steep hillside with limited access, and parts of it still sit on unpaved roads platted in 1912. A box truck doesn’t belong up there, so we shuttle in smaller and carry the rest. Lakeland Village is the same, with slopes as steep as 35 percent and cottages built before driveways existed. The gated tracts have the opposite problem — in Canyon Hills, Tuscany Hills and Summerly the HOA controls the move-in window and where a truck may stand. Send the packet a week ahead.
